Following intensive testing, Target Fixings is able to confirm both CE and UKCA marking compliance for its product range, including helical wall ties, crack stitching materials, cementitious grouts and the Heli Pile system.
Tests were carried out by a number of independent bodies, in both the UK and Europe, testing Target's products against multiple standards.
Wall ties, including Retro Flex and Dri Flex, were tested against EN 845-1:2013+A1:2016, specification for ancillary components for masonry.
The helical reinforcement material Bar Flex, was also tested against EN 845-1:2013+A1:2016, but the testing was more reflective of the use of Bar Flex being installed in the mortar joint across a crack.
Bond Flex, Target's cementitious grout, is declared to conform against EN 998-2:2016, which specifies requirements for factory-made masonry mortars.
Finally, the factory production control system of Heli Pile was tested against EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011, which specifies requirements for conformity assessment of performance characteristics for structural aluminium components.
Declarations of Performance are available on demand, and you can request a copy by emailing technical@targetfixings.co.uk. They will also be published on Target's website next month.
